Maybe you will ask yourselves with such a title, where was I last week-end. This enchanting place is the Auberge Couleurs de France, located in Petite-Nation in the Outaouais Region. This inn is right beside the snowmobile trail entering the Laurentians, close to St-Jovite at Tremblant. It takes 2 hours by car from Montreal and 1 hour 20 minutes from Gatineau.
The welcome
When we arrived at the inn, we saw a large log cabin nearby a lake surrounded by other log cabins. It is worth to see. We had very cold weather during the day, so we were anxious to seek refuge inside. The owner, Jean-Jacques Rech, and his spouse, Léa Rousseau, welcomed us when we came in.
We have been impressed at first sight in the entrance occupied by a fireplace. The natural wood decor brings a rest and relaxation atmosphere.
